Captures and recordings
Tapping the capture pill opens a chooser with the two kinds of captures testers can send from inside your build:
- Capture screenshot. A screenshot of the current screen, grabbed at the moment of the tap, that they mark up with pen and shape tools before sending.
- Record a video. A screen recording of them using the app, with live microphone narration mixed in as they go. Recording needs a real device and microphone access; the chooser explains inline when it's unavailable.
Before a capture sends, testers can attach a short note. Every capture is tied to a verified person and auto-tagged with the app version and build it came from, and carries device context (model, OS version, screen size) so you can reproduce what the tester saw. Captures appear in your project's web gallery as they arrive, where you and your stakeholders can review, tag, and filter them.
If a tester's captures aren't showing up: confirm they're on a build with the SDK included and enrolled with their email. Captures made offline aren't lost; they're stored on the device and upload automatically once it's back online.
